Yard Coordinator (BCH)


We are seeking a hands-on, reliable and proactive individual who can take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of our yard and ensure operations run efficiently, safely and on schedule.

 

About the Role

As Yard Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating the movement, storage and availability of equipment and materials across the yard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating daily yard operations and activities
  • Organising the movement, loading and unloading of equipment and materials
  • Maintaining accurate stock and equipment records
  • Ensuring the yard is kept clean, organised and safe
  • Coordinating deliveries, collections and dispatches
  • Working closely with drivers, operators, supervisors and management
  • Ensuring equipment is available and prepared when required
  • Identifying and reporting damaged, missing or faulty equipment
  • Managing yard priorities and ensuring tasks are completed on time
  • Supporting the team with general operational and logistical requirements
  • Ensuring workplace health and safety standards are maintained at all times

 

About You

The successful candidate will be:

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Reliable, proactive and willing to take ownership
  • Confident communicating with staff, drivers and management
  • Practical and hands-on with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a busy operational environment
  • Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining high standards
  • Experienced in yard, warehouse, logistics, transport or similar operations
  • Able to work independently while also being a strong team player

Experience coordinating a busy yard or operational environment will be highly regarded.
