About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to join our Shepparton team who will be the responsible for providing guidance throughout our workshop.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the workshop
  • Monitor the progression of jobs throughout the day to ensure timely completion.
  • Scheduling of workshop jobs based on customer requirements and workshop capacity
  • Conduct Quality Control and perform final inspections of vehicles prior to collection.
  • Explain technical issues to non-technical customers and stakeholders.
  • Providing guidance to both apprentices and technicians

 

About you:

This role is a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced technician looking to come off the tools, learn new skills and provide support throughout the workshop.

 

  • Previous experience in similar role (desirable).
  • A sound understanding of workflow in a busy workshop.
  • Strong base in Heavy Diesel mechanical knowledge.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with conflicting timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to always improve processes and outcomes.
