WHS Business Partner - Burton
Now we’re looking for a WHS Business Partner who gets the pace and grit of the Automotive, Transport and Construction world, and cares just as much about the people behind the tools.
This isn’t clipboard safety. This is boots on concrete, working side-by-side with management and their team to keep everyone going home safe — every shift.

What you’ll do
You’ll be out in our workshops and yards — listening, problem-solving, and driving initiatives and safer ways to work
- Champion practical safety culture across truck builds, fabrication, service, transport and construction.
- Help teams engineer out risks and work smarter, not harder
- Lead proactive safety and wellbeing initiatives that people believe in
- Support incident reporting with a no-blame, learn-and-improve approach
- Make compliance feel simple and achievable
What we’re looking for
Someone who speaks the language of the workshop and/or heavy industry and has the confidence to influence leaders:
- Cert IV in WHS or related qualification
- Heavy Vehicle, Transport or Construction Industry knowledge
- Solid WHS experience — risk management , investigations, compliance
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and regulations
- Injury management or RTW experience
- Excellent communicator — can translate safety in laymen's terms
- Strong influencer and relationship-builder
- ICAM (or similar) investigation training
