Warehouse Storeperson


Northeast Engineering is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our busy and fast-paced team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and teamwork, and is looking to build a long-term role within a supportive and growing business.

 

About the role

As a result of growth within Northeast Engineering, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse/Store person to join our busy operations team on a full-time basis.

 

Working within our engineering warehouse, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, checking, and dispatching engineering parts and materials
  • Generating delivery dockets and maintaining accurate records
  • Efficiently sourcing and supplying parts and components
  • Coordinating deliveries and supporting workshop requirements
  • Ensuring correct storage and organisation of stock and materials
  • Allocating stock accurately using serial numbers and barcodes
  • Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
  • Maintaining stock levels and replenishment thresholds
  • Assisting with regular stocktakes and inventory audits
  • General warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

 

About you

  • Forklift licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or engineering store environment (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently
  • A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Interest in the engineering or industrial industry (advantageous)
