Warehouse Storeperson
Northeast Engineering is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our busy and fast-paced team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and teamwork, and is looking to build a long-term role within a supportive and growing business.
About the role
As a result of growth within Northeast Engineering, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse/Store person to join our busy operations team on a full-time basis.
Working within our engineering warehouse, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving, checking, and dispatching engineering parts and materials
- Generating delivery dockets and maintaining accurate records
- Efficiently sourcing and supplying parts and components
- Coordinating deliveries and supporting workshop requirements
- Ensuring correct storage and organisation of stock and materials
- Allocating stock accurately using serial numbers and barcodes
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintaining stock levels and replenishment thresholds
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and inventory audits
- General warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
About you
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or engineering store environment (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well both in a team and independently
- A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Interest in the engineering or industrial industry (advantageous)
