Vehicle Spraypainters/Sandblasters - VIC
Northeast Auto Group has the state-of-the-art workshop, which now includes two brand new truck booths and sand blaster. Become a member of a supportive and dynamic team. We have multiple openings for these roles in South Australia.
What you will do:
- Spray Painting: Apply paint to vehicles with precision, achieving a high-quality finish that meets industry standards.
- Sand Blasting: Prepare truck bodies, cabs, and components by removing rust, paint, and contaminants using blasting equipment to ensure a clean surface for painting.
- Paint Prepping: Sand, mask, and prime surfaces to achieve a flawless finish.
- Polishing: Use machine polishers and hand tools to remove minor scratches, swirl marks, and paint imperfections.
- Vehicle Work: Carry out preparation, sand blasting, and spray painting of truck cabs, buses, and truck bodies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain repair timelines and meet customer expectations.
- Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and industry regulations.
- Equipment Care: Maintain and check tools and blasting/painting equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Communication: Engage effectively with team members and supervisors to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional results.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in your respective trade within the automotive repair industry
- Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing or relevant experience (essential)
- 2+ years' experience
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with industry standard tools, equipment and techniques
- Sound time management and interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Current Driver’s license
