Stock Controller & Sales Administration


 

Northeast Truck Centre in Sunshine Coast is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administration & Stock Controller to join our team. This is a varied and fast-paced role that is integral to the smooth operation of our sales Department. While working with the team, you will be responsible for coordinating vehicle stock, processing sales administration, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from vehicle order through to delivery.

 

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Sales Administration & Stock Controller to support our sales Department and manage vehicle stock processes.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will help ensure smooth vehicle sales administration, accurate stock control, and timely processing of customer deliveries and reporting. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organisation, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Administration

  • Process factory claims, pricing assistance, and warranty start dates
  • Enter factory invoices and manage related claims
  • Process sales deals for reporting and commission payments
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and finance audit support
  • Update customer payments in the Dealer Management System (DMS)
  • Raise purchase orders and assist with general admin tasks

Stock Control

  • Manage vehicle arrivals, stock numbers, and vehicle files
  • Coordinate vehicle orders, allocations, and transport
  • Monitor and update stock movements in the DMS
  • Communicate stock availability, delays, or issues to the Sales Team
  • Assist with factory reporting and vehicle documentation
  • Support registration, reporting, and reception cover when required

 

About You

  • Previous administration experience (automotive experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Confident communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with a Dealer Management System (desirable)
  • Team player with a positive attitude
