Sheet Metal Worker
As a Sheet Metal Worker with Northeast Engineering your primary focus is to fabricate, assemble, and produce high-quality toolboxes and custom sheet metal products according to customer specifications, ensuring precision, durability, and adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
About the Role
- Fabricating a variety of sheet metal components and products using press break, guillotine, cutting, bending, and Tig welding.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Operating a range of sheet metal machinery and equipment, such as brakes press, and welding machines
- Manufacturing various types of toolboxes in different size and custom designs using 2mm sheet metal.
- Load and unload material and product with overhead crane.
- Machine maintenance – daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Housekeeping - maintaining clean and safe working area 3.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Sheet metal Fabricator / Welder qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Experience in CNC break press operation
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
- Attention to detail and high level of precision.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools for quality control.
