About the role

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic with the Northeast Isuzu UTES team, you will be responsible for diagnostics, servicing and maintaining our customers' private vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing and diagnosing mechanical problems;
  • The planning of jobs and ordering the required parts;
  • Use of the latest diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues
  • Working to the requirements of a job card;
  • Identify any additional works that may be required;
  • Completion of all paperwork regarding work performed;
  • Maintaining a commitment to safety in the workplace.

 

About you

  • Trade qualification in light vehicle mechanics (essential);
  • Diagnostic experience (essential);
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified light vehicle mechanic (essential);
  • Driver’s licence (essential);
  • Diesel experience (desirable);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent time management, organisation and prioritization skills.
