Junior Accountants


Northeast Auto Group are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their accounting experience, develop their skills and grow within a supportive professional environment.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial administration
  • Process invoices, payments and reconciliations
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with BAS, payroll and other compliance requirements
  • Maintain organised and accurate accounting records
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team

 

About You

  • Relevant accounting qualification or currently studying Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Previous accounting or administration experience is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
  • Eager to learn, develop and build a long-term career in accounting
  • Australian working rights
