ICT Support Officer


Situated in Burton, the Northeast Auto Group spans over 24 acres encompassing both Heavy and Light vehicle dealerships, Manufacturing and Agricultural and Construction Equipment Sales. We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic ICT Support Officer to our ICT team.


About the role

As ICT Support Officers for our internal clients, you are the first point of contact. No two days will be the same as you’ll be proactively problem solving any ICT issues that come your way or escalating them as appropriate.
You’ll provide high quality, efficient support via phone, emails and our ticketing system to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and service requests

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering robust technical ICT support across the organization.
  • Swiftly responding to ICT issues and requests with efficiency.
  • Diagnosing and resolving ICT issues and outages promptly.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive ICT systems documentation.
  • Managing and maintaining ICT assets effectively.
  • Contributing to the upgrade and implementation of ICT systems.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the execution of the ICT Strategy.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

In our successful candidates we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an ICT Support or Helpdesk role.
  • Hold qualifications in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Windows, Office, and the Microsoft 365 product suite.
  • Display a strong understanding of computer hardware, including mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and configurations such as LAN/WAN, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Proven experience and comprehension of Cyber Security principles.
  • A track record of troubleshooting and resolving ICT issues effectively.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new ICT systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as a team member.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
