About the role

The Northeast Truck Centre, Maryborough are looking to welcome a Sales Consultants to our Heavy Vehicle Sales team. This opportunity is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in the transport industry. All you need is a great attitude, as we will show you the Northeast way. 

Day to day:

  • Understanding customer objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes
  • Gain and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the vehicles in our yard and across our other dealerships
  • Build long term business relationships with customers to assist with future sales, keep them coming back to you. 
  • Exceed customer expectations and needs by providing personalised advice, service and support. 
  • Maintain accurate and compelling vehicle listings on automotive retail websites 
  • Meet sales objectives. 
 

About you

  • Experience in Retail Sales or customer service
  • A strong desire to build a loyal customer base 
  • Solutions focused mindset, ability to think analytically and problem solve
  • Enthusiasm, excellent listening skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication
  • The ability to understand customer needs and build rapport at all levels
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
