Fleet & Government Sales Specialist
At Adelaide Isuzu in Hampstead Gardens, you’ll work with a wide range of businesses and government clients, helping them find the right vehicles for their needs. This is a great opportunity for a motivated sales professional to build strong relationships and grow their career in the automotive industry.
Role Purpose:
Develop and manage fleet, corporate and government vehicle sales for Northeast Auto Group Light Vehicle sales across Burton & Hampstead Gardens. Build relationships with fleet management organisations, novated leasing providers, businesses, councils and state government buyers, and coordinate vehicle supply and ongoing customer support across both Isuzu UTE sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a territory and account plan; prospect through calls, visits, referrals and industry contacts to secure new business and grow existing accounts.
- Build relationships with fleet management and novated leasing providers; secure dealer panel access and participation in relevant vehicle quoting and tender channels.
- Visit councils and engage local and state government buyers; monitor LGA, VendorPanel and other relevant procurement channels, panels and replacement programs.
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals and tender responses covering vehicle specifications, accessories, availability, delivery and customer requirements; manage deadlines and follow-up.
- Coordinate orders, accessory fit-out, delivery and handover.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Support customer retention through regular account reviews and introductions to servicing, parts and accessories and any other Northeast Auto Group opportunities.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated success in fleet sales, automotive sales, B2B business development or commercial account management, including winning new accounts.
- Strong prospecting, relationship building, written proposal, negotiation and follow-up skills; confidence dealing with business and government decision makers.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities, use CRM systems and coordinate effectively with dealership teams.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel for customer visits within the agreed territory.
