Automotive Detailer (BCH NSW)


This role is critical to ensuring our fleet of trucks, machinery and plant equipment is presented to a high standard, ready for hire and safe for use on civil and construction sites. This is a practical, physical role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working around heavy vehicles and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

  • Cleaning and detailing heavy vehicles, plant and machinery including trucks, earthmoving equipment and attachments
  • Pressure washing and detailing equipment prior to and on return from hire
  • Conducting basic inspections and reporting any damage, faults or maintenance requirements
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the yard and wash bay areas
  • Supporting the workshop and hire team with general yard duties as required
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety procedures and site requirements

About you

  • Previous experience detailing heavy vehicles, machinery or plant is highly regarded
  • Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
  • Current driver’s licence required, HR or higher licence advantageous
