Auto electrician
As an Auto Electrician with Northeast Isuzu your primary responsibility is supporting the maintenance, diagnostics, and fitment of electrical systems across heavy vehicles
About the Role
- Fitting and servicing electrical accessories – including but not limited to side lights, taillights, spotlights, beacons, fridges, inverters, and isolator switches
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy vehicles
- Routing and repairing wiring looms
- Operating and maintaining both hand and power tools and workshop equipment
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean working environment
- Performing quality checks and reporting any issues to supervisors
- Supporting the team with general workshop tasks as required
About you
- Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential)
- Strong understanding of heavy vehicle electrical systems with an automotive background
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to safety
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
