Auto electrician


As an Auto Electrician with Northeast Isuzu your primary responsibility is supporting the maintenance, diagnostics, and fitment of electrical systems across heavy vehicles

 

About the Role

  • Fitting and servicing electrical accessories – including but not limited to side lights, taillights, spotlights, beacons, fridges, inverters, and isolator switches
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy vehicles
  • Routing and repairing wiring looms
  • Operating and maintaining both hand and power tools and workshop equipment
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean working environment
  • Performing quality checks and reporting any issues to supervisors
  • Supporting the team with general workshop tasks as required

 

About you

  • Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential)
  • Strong understanding of heavy vehicle electrical systems with an automotive background
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Forklift Licence (desirable)
