Auto Electrician


As an Auto Electrician with Northeast Engineering your primary responsibility is within a Body fit-out role, this will include the fitment of electrical accessories to New Build vehicles. 

About the Role

  • Fitting Electrical accessories – including but not limited to Side Lights, Tarp Motors, Taillights, Spotlights, Beacons, Fridges, Inverters, Isolator switches
  • Routing wiring looms
  • Operating and maintaining both hand and power tools and machinery
  • Following Safety protocols and maintaining a clear working environment
  • Performing quality checks and reporting any issues to supervisors
  • Supporting the team with general labour tasks as required

About you 

  • Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential)
  • Strong understanding of Air Trailer brake systems with an automotive background
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Forklift License (desirable)
