Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Northeast Auto Group Lonsdale is a leading heavy vehicle and machinery dealership located just south of Adelaide, specialising in the sale, service and repair of Isuzu Trucks, Iveco Trucks and Kobelco equipment. Built on strong family values, the team prides itself on delivering a hands-on, supportive environment where you’ll tackle real mechanical challenges, work with quality equipment, and learn the trade alongside experienced professional.
What you’ll do
You’ll assist our qualified techs with all things service and repair while studying toward Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. You’ll:- Learn to maintain and repair a variety of heavy vehicles and machinery
- Diagnose mechanical faults and use modern workshop tech
- Plan and prepare for scheduled works, including parts orders
- Gain real experience with engines, hydraulics and diagnostics
- Keep safety front and centre, every day
What we’re looking for
- Keen to complete your Cert III Heavy Vehicle apprenticeship
- Driver’s licence (or close to)
- Basic mechanical knowledge or a genuine passion for automotive
- Someone reliable, willing to learn and not afraid to get dirty
- Good time management and a positive attitude
